I’ve been slack blogging recently. Terribly so. I thought I’d leave off the blogging for a while until I got thesis writing done. It hasn’t really happened!

So, there’s nothing better to do than post a bunch of links to wonderful things. Those many terrible things can wait another day. It’s just gone solstice, and the south-east Australian winter is mild.

John has beautiful chickens.

Kakariki has beautiful craft and giant vulvas.

Nikki has devilish knitting.

Che has recipes, but since I’m vegan I’ll endorse his beautiful porridge.

And me? I’ve been cooking things. Vegan Yum Yum is really worth looking at. It’s one of those sites for which the web was invented, showcasing beauty and simplicity. Which is also true of Butter Sugar Flour, which is so beautiful that veganising the recipes is de rigour. I made this Crumb Cake from Vegan Yum Yum last weekend, and it is the best cake I have ever made (which isn’t hard!)
